RISE Robotics – Aims for Strongest Arm Record

Hiten Sonpal, CEO of RISE Robotics, says they’re “pushing the limits of robotic actuation.” In other words, they’re building an arm so powerful, it might just redefine what’s possible in heavy machinery.

At the core of this breakthrough is Beltdraulic—a fluid-free actuator that delivers hydraulic-like power without the inefficiencies. Instead of using traditional hydraulics, it relies on a belt-and-pulley system, cutting energy costs and eliminating emissions. More power, less waste—it’s a win-win for the industry.

With partnerships spanning Tier 1 automotive suppliers, OEMs, and even the U.S. Department of Defense, RISE Robotics is proving that strength and sustainability can go hand in hand.
