Serve Robotics Expands – Miami Gets Delivery Bots
Miami, get ready—your lunch might soon roll up on its own wheels! Serve Robotics has officially launched its sidewalk delivery robots in the Miami Metro, expanding partnerships with Shake Shack and teaming up with Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza.
If you’re in Brickell or Miami Beach and order through Uber Eats, there’s a chance your burger or pizza could be delivered by one of these autonomous robots. No driver, no doorbell awkwardness—just your food, cruising straight to you.
Uber Eats is pretty excited about it too. Megan Jensen, head of autonomous delivery operations, says they’re all about making deliveries easier and, let’s be honest, a little more fun.
Serve Robotics, originally spun off from Uber in 2021, has already completed tens of thousands of deliveries and has plans to deploy up to 2,000 robots across the U.S. by 2025. With $220 million in funding, they’re on a serious mission—bringing more efficient, sustainable delivery to busy city streets.
So, next time you order a pizza or burger in Miami, don’t be surprised if it arrives… rolling right up to you!
